in Council Chambers at Village Administrative Office 5004-50 Avenue

Special Garbage Pick Up (Tuesday, October 6, 2009)

The Village of Caroline supports the members of our Fire Department and the invaluable contribution they make in protecting lives and property in our community. As a way of raising awareness of Fire Prevention Week (October 4-10) Council and staff encourage all residents to make a special effort to rid each home of potential fire hazards this fall. A “free of charge” Special Garbage Pick Up is scheduled for Tuesday, October 6th. This will include yard cleanup (bundled tree limbs),  leftover building materials, old furniture and appliances etc that cannot be picked up on regular collection days. You must contact the Village of Caroline Office to register (403-722-3781) for special pick up. Stay fire smart! Don’t get burned.

11:00am at the Kurt Browning Complex

The Caroline Events Committee is comprised of local people from interested Community Organizations. By local groups working together we can put together bigger events that are enjoyable for everyone. We currently have volunteers from the Caroline Museum, Village of Caroline, Caroline Rec & Ag Society, Caroline SloPitch, Caroline Chamber of Commerce, Evergreen Parent Link and Caroline School. Anyone interested in joining us is more than welcome. You can contact Debbie at the Kurt Browning Complex Office for more information @ 403-722-3022.
