OPEN HOUSE and PUBLIC MEETING
– Tuesday, February 23, 2010 -
Community members are invited to attend an open house and public meeting on Tuesday, February 23 to discuss the proposed Off-Site Levy Bylaw being prepared by the Village of Caroline.
An Off-Site Levy Bylaw creates a fee or charge for new development in the community to help pay for the construction of new and expanded infrastructure that serves the new development. This includes such things as the water treatment system, the water reservoir, and the sewage treatment system.
You are invited to review a copy of the proposed Bylaw and supporting report and share your thoughts and comments with us.
What: Open House and Public Meeting on Proposed Off-Site Levy Bylaw
When: Open house starts at 4:30 PM and runs until 7:00 PM
Please drop-in when convenient for you
Public meeting begins with a presentation at 7:00 PM
Where: Caroline Legion, 5119 – 49 Avenue, Caroline, AB
A copy of the proposed Bylaw and the supporting Village of Caroline 2009 Off-Site Levies Report can be picked up at the Village office.
The Open House will consist of display boards about the proposed Off-Site Levy Bylaw with staff available to answer questions. The Public Meeting will include a presentation followed by an opportunity for questions and discussion.
