Council Meetings
The Village of Caroline’s regular Council Meetings are held the on the first and third Tuesday of each month, at 2:00 pm, in the Village Council chambers. Any interested members of the public who are welcome to come and view the proceedings.
Garbage Pick Up
Garbage collections times: 7:30am – Noon on Wednesdays. Please have all garbage out prior to this time; otherwise it may not be collected. Reminder there is a 5 bag limit and all household garbage must be bagged in garbage bags and contained in a weather proof and animal proof containers.
Municipal Affairs CAO Survey
Staff completed a Municipal Affairs Survey of Chief Administrative Officers. The purpose of the survey is to identify the training and human resource planning needs of municipal administrators and to provide the data necessary to target support services, resources, and programs that address those needs.
Office Equipment
Staff met with several office equipment dealers to discuss future equipment needs. Our lease for the photocopier expires in the fall of 2010.
Off-site Levies Open House and Public Meeting
RV Park Attendant
The Village is seeking an ambitious, public-orientated, customer-driven individual or couple to reside, maintain and oversee the Caroline Municipal R.V. Park, 0.5 km east of Caroline, for the 2010 season (May 12 to September 15).
Duties include: Supervision of the Park, Management of the Tourist Information Centre, Issuing of Camping Permits, Collection of Camping Fees, Maintenance of Buildings, Facilities and Grounds, and Bookings. Safety
Staff met with Clearwater County’s safety advisor to discuss Health and Safety best practices, in an effort to continue the Village’s pursuit of the Small Employer Certificate of Recognition (SECOR), Staff will continue to review safety procedures and complete safety documentation and training opportunities.
Village Office Hours
The Village of Caroline Administration Office is open Tuesday through Friday, 8:30am -12:30pm and 1:30pm – 4:30pm.
Water Metering
As part of the Village of Caroline’ capital plan, residential water meters are scheduled for implementation/installation in 2010.
